An international jury has awarded Malta Festival Poznań with the Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe Label 2015-2016 (EFFE Label). „We are delighted to say that the EFFE Labels 2015-2016 make up the first generation of EFFE Label recipients that stand for artistic quality and have a significant impact on the local, national and international level. The Label recipients represent 31 European countries and offer a wide range of activities and interdisciplinary programmes to their audiences” said Vincent Baudriller, the chairman of the EFFE international jury, the Director of Lausanne's Theatre Vidy and the former director of the Festival d' Avignon.
EFFE is a platform initiated by the Association uniting selected festivals which meet the criteria of the programme: artistic commitment, community involvement and a festival's international and global outlook. EFFE is also an Internet portal directed at people wishing to discover interesting cultural events as well as partners interested in international cooperation. The publication of a festival guidebook, which will present all EFFE events, is planned in the next several weeks. The guidebook will be available in soft and hard copy.
