Today 27 June at 22h00 Michael Nyman and his band will give a free open concert for Malta Festival Poznan by Malta Lake.

The program includes a Polish premiere of War Work: 8 songs with Film, which will be accompanied by archive recordings from World War I as well as well known favourites from Michael Nyman’s film scores. We will hear pieces from films directed by Peter Greenaway such as Draughtsman’s Contract, Zed and Two Naughts and Making a Splash.

You will be able to enjoy the music on comfortable deckchairs provided courtesy of the festival sponsor ENEA. Food will be served by Poznań food tracks.

The area around Malta Lake has been a venue of unforgettable open air performances, happenings and concerts. Lets all meet again by the finish line of the regatta course to celebrate the festival's birthday together!
