  • In Doctor Faustus Thomas Mann offered his readers one the most outstanding interpretations of the last of Beethoven’s sonatas (Op. 111). During the performance Marcin Masecki will present the last sonatas of the Vienna classic in such a way as to come as close as possible to the perspective of the deaf composer. The artist is one of the leading representatives of Polish independent music, a pianist, composer, conductor, the laureate of the prestigious Paszport “Polityki” award.

  • Marcin Masecki

    Marcin Masecki (1982) is one of the leading representatives of Polish independent music, a pianist, composer, conductor, the laureate of the prestigious Paszport “Polityki” award. He is the founder and member of many bands such as Profesjonalizm [Eng. Professionalism], WOR (Warszawska Orkiestra Rozrywkowa, [Eng. Warsaw Entertainment Orchestra]), Paristetris and Pictorial Candi. At the same time, the artist works with classical music, which he presents in new and original contexts. He released several albums, e.g. Mięso, BOB, Chopin Chopin Chopin, Kunst der Fuge.
